Rental Sales Engineer

Job Summary
Develop and maintain Trane Rental Services customers to ensure maximum revenues through account penetration. Establish new rental customers via phone calls and in-person visits, presenting turnkey services and identifying business opportunities. Function as a sales representative and liaison between customers and the office, performing analysis on customer needs and market opportunities. Increase sales to existing accounts and maintain records of sales, customer information, and requests by updating data. Work on-site five days a week with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and three years of sales experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of sales experience
- Understanding of rental business and industries
- High intellectual abilities to sell complex products and customer solutions
- Equipment troubleshooting skills and diagnostic skills
- Ability to properly size, quote, install and maintain small less complex, and moderately complex projects
- Possess strong negotiation and selling skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong presentation and excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
- Possess knowledge of all type of HVAC equipment
- Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency with computer skills and MS Office (especially Word and Excel)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of construction or related equipment is preferred
