Job Summary
Europcar Mobility Group is seeking a Casual Rental Sales Agent to join the Canberra Airport & City team. You will greet and assist customers in renting vehicles based on preferences and needs, process rental agreements accurately, upsell additional products and services, address inquiries promptly with a service-first approach, and strive to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets. You will inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, maintain knowledge of current promotions, build strong customer relationships for repeat business, and perform vehicle detailing, cleaning, refueling, and transportation as needed. Required is experience in sales, customer service or retail (car rental experience desirable), strong communication skills, comfort with technology, and flexibility to work a rotating shift including weekends; a valid Australian driver’s license and full working rights in Australia are also required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, customer service or retail
- Car rental experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Confident using computer systems and technology
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work on a rotating shift roster - 7 day shift work including weekends and public holidays
- Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record
- Full working rights in Australia (current and ongoing)
- A positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude
