Job Summary
Rental Sales Agent at Europcar Christchurch Airport: drive sales and deliver customer-focused vehicle rental experiences. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers with vehicle rentals, processing rental agreements accurately, promoting and upselling additional products and services, addressing customer inquiries professionally, achieving individual and team sales targets, inspecting vehicles for damages before and after rental, maintaining knowledge of current promotions, building strong customer relationships for repeat business, detailing and cleaning vehicles to business quality standards, and refueling/transporting vehicles. Requires prior sales/customer service experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency with computer systems, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible weekend/holiday shifts, and a valid NZ drivers license with full working rights.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, customer service or retail
- Car rental experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident using computer systems and technology
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work on a rotating shift roster - 7 day shift work including weekends and public holidays
- Valid New Zealand driver's license with a clean driving record
- Full working rights in New Zealand (current and ongoing)
