Job Summary
Rental Sales Agent at Europcar Mobility Group for the Canberra Airport & City team on a casual basis. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers in renting vehicles, processing rental agreements accurately, promoting and upselling additional products and services, addressing inquiries professionally, achieving or exceeding sales targets, inspecting vehicles, maintaining knowledge of promotions and services, building customer relationships for repeat business, detailing and cleaning vehicles, and refueling/transporting vehicles. Requires previous sales, customer service, or retail experience; car rental experience is desirable; strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency with computer systems; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; flexibility for a rotating shift; and a valid Australian driver’s license with full working rights in Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, customer service or retail
- Car rental experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Confident using computer systems and technology
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work on a rotating shift roster - 7 day shift work including weekends and public holidays
- Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record
- Full working rights in Australia (current and ongoing)
