Job Summary
As a Rental Rollback Delivery Driver, you will deliver and pickup rental equipment, ensuring safe operation of CDL assigned vehicles. Duties include performing pre/post delivery inspections, maintaining DOT logbooks, taking photos of equipment, and providing customer service during equipment familiarization. Applicants should have a valid CDL Class B license, at least 3 years of relevant driving experience, and must demonstrate strong customer service skills and attention to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 23-years-old or older.
- Valid, active CDL license. Class B or greater preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a driver for heavy equipment transportation, general professional freight carrier, or heavy-duty trucking (e.g., wrecker, mobile crane).
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete DQ file, including but not limited to: Road Test administered by Yancey personnel, Background check and MVR with less than 10 points, DOT Physical, Drug Screen.
- Must not be disqualified to drive a CMV under 49 CFR § 383.5 or 49 CFR § 383.51.
- Ability to manage electronic log books and delivery software via electronic tablets.
- Capable and competent of operating and loading a variety of machines onto assigned transport vehicle.
- Customer service oriented with the willingness to go above and beyond expectations with a rock star attitude.
