Job Summary
Oversee specific rental and retail locations by supervising staff, managing hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions. Maintain proper inventory levels, administer budgets for labor and expenses, and ensure equipment or facility maintenance projects are completed. Work directly with clients and vendors to resolve issues while staying on the floor to answer questions and support the team. Handle cash transactions, manage sales systems, and enforce Service Excellence Standards in a fast-paced environment. Requires 2 years of ski shop experience and 1 year of supervisory and RTP rental experience. Full-time seasonal role in Steamboat Springs, CO, with a base salary range of $58,485 to $67,000.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year experience in a ski shop or related retail or rental shop
- 2-year guest service experience
- 1-year supervisory experience
- 1-year retail or rental sales experience with RTP sales systems
- Cash handling experience
- Experience reading and managing to revenue and labor budgets
- Must feel comfortable using information systems including sales programs and Microsoft Office
- Exceptional people and language skills
- Prompt, accurate and professional judgment in a fast-paced environment
- Mathematical skills - add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Must maintain a professional, clean and well-respected rental-retail operation
