Job Summary
Manage the full residential and commercial rental portfolio, including leasing, inspections, maintenance, and vendor relationships. Develop and manage property budgets while delivering monthly P&L statements, variance analysis, and delinquency reporting. Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HOME, HUD, KHRC, and Fair Housing regulations, and build tenant relationships for renters transitioning to homeownership. Maintain preventive maintenance, capital improvement, and unit upgrade plans, then track portfolio KPIs to deliver regular performance reports to leadership and the Project Development Committee. Supervise a Maintenance Technician and support sustainable homeownership through coaching and education.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of property management experience
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L, and variance analysis
- Proficiency in MS Excel and a property management system (Yardi, AppFolio, or similar)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Smartphone
