Job Summary
Rental Management Trainee program spanning 18-24 months with training in Finance, Operations, Human Resources and Sales/Marketing. Incumbent will perform operational and administrative tasks in support of location and regional management within Ryder's fleet and transportation focus. Responsibilities include handling inbound/outbound sales and process, maintaining data in the marketing database, performing yard checks to inspect vehicles, generating rental, lease and used-vehicle sales leads, managing rental asset processes (including vehicle PM and cleanliness standards), ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements, reconciling customer concerns, and maintaining relationships to grow the customer base. Requires a Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and relevant customer-service experience; strong communication skills and ability to relocate if needed; full-time permanent role with comprehensive benefits in a Canada-based setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar related degree
- One (1) year or more customer service with issues resolution experience preferred
- Must be computer literate (intermediate)
- Valid Driver’s license (Class G or above)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to relocate in the region/US at the conclusion of the training program
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Detail oriented with strong follow-up practices
