Job Summary
The Rental Equipment Yard Technician refuels equipment, reports machine hours to the counter on rental returns, and organizes the yard by equipment status. Depending on the assigned shop/location, the role may perform all or some of these functions, including painting/details, shipping/receiving, power washing, scrap-metal handling, parts delivery for Technicians, yard organization with 5S principles, equipment safety and operations instruction to customers, and ensuring proper tie-down techniques for transport. Requires high school diploma/GED, 1+ year of customer service, machine service/maintenance, machine operating skills, and forklift operation. The position emphasizes professional customer interactions, adherence to safety practices, and contributing to the company’s service quality and efficiency.
