Job Summary
Rental Equipment Technician role responsible for inspecting, testing, and performing minor servicing of industrial equipment (e.g., roll-off boxes, frac tanks, berms) to ensure safe operation and compliance with company, regulatory, and manufacturer standards. Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, ensuring DOT-compliant documentation and data entry, conducting atmospheric testing using an air quality monitor, performing confined-space entries per CSE procedures, performing minor repairs (including welding), operating forklifts and yard mules to move equipment, engaging with external customers/vendors professionally, prioritizing self-organized workloads, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting team goals. Preferred qualifications include PPE knowledge, confined-space entry training, welding experience, respirator fit-testing, Basic Plus certification, and the ability to obtain a TWIC card. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, documentation, and effective communication.”,
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License is required
- Current, valid TWIC card or ability to obtain one
- Basic Plus certification or willingness to undergo and successfully pass the Basic Plus examination
- Ability to read, write and comprehend documents such as operational, technical, process, safety and quality instructions
- Experience in mechanical, environmental or industrial shop environments
- Experience operating pressure washing units (up to 3,500 psi)
- Experience with welding equipment (certification not required)
- Current respirator fit-tested
