Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repairs on Mustang's fleet of rental equipment, with responsibilities spanning shop service and field service. Diagnose and repair diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems, using the technician’s own tools. Leverage mechanical and troubleshooting skills to perform necessary repairs and ensure equipment reliability. Must have prior mechanic experience or military background; high school diploma or equivalent; additional preferred credentials include technical school certificates or an associate degree. Required Qualifications
- Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous mechanic work or military experience
- Understanding of diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to demonstrate technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting abilities to define and perform necessary repairs
- Associates degree or certificate from a technical school
- Mechanic experience on heavy and light construction equipment
- Mechanic experience on aerial and man lift equipment
- Technical experience with hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors
- Welding experience
