Job Summary
Rental Equipment Mechanic responsible for cleaning and maintaining rental equipment, performing repairs, generating repair/maintenance purchase orders, stocking supplies, inspecting equipment for safety, updating DMV registration and insurance, handling rental transactions at the counter, processing contracts and payments, and delivering/picking up equipment. The role includes setup/takedown, loading/unloading, and occasional yard/store duties, with outdoor work and weekend availability. Requires customer service orientation, hands-on mechanical skills, and a valid driver’s license; 1+ years of related experience or training and a high school diploma or GED are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years knowledge of general machine maintenance
- Valid Driver's License required
- Chauffeur’s license preferred but not required
