Job Summary
Rental Equipment Field Service Technician at Wagner Equipment Co. performs diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repair of CAT heavy equipment at customer sites under direct supervision, maintains service logs and reports, communicates status and parts needs to customers and dispatcher, teaches and coaches other technicians, and promotes Wagner to customers. Requires High School Diploma or GED, CAT-related courses, 3+ years of heavy equipment servicing experience, DOT Health Card, Class D Driver’s License, and MSHA license. Travel is 75–100% and work involves lifting up to 100 pounds, field service with safety compliance to MSHA/OSHA, and use of tools and MSDS/SIMs coding. DOT and MSHA requirements, strong customer service and sales experience, and ability to work independently with little direction are essential. Pay ranges from $27.00 to $35.88 per hour plus benefits; travel-heavy role with indoor/outdoor environments.
Required Qualifications
