Job Summary
Delivery and operation of rental equipment as a CDL-A driver in Denver, CO. Drives a semi tractor-trailer with a 53’ flatbed trailer to deliver equipment to customers, loads/unloads, and ensures equipment is clean and operational. Provides basic operational training to customers, documents work via the company tech platform, secures loads per safety standards, and verifies rental contracts. Performs PDIs, coordinates with store locations, maintains inventory records, and adheres to DOT regulations and safety requirements. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills, along with the ability to navigate maps/directions for efficient routes and adapt to changing conditions. Minimum education: high school diploma or GED; certifications: Class A CDL, DOT Medical Card; 1 year CMV experience; 21+ years old.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Valid DOT Medical Card (DOT Physical Examination)
- 1 year of commercial motor vehicle driving experience within the previous 5 years
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Minimum age 21
- Knowledge of safe load securement and DOT regulations
- Ability to operate a 53’ flatbed trailer and class 7 straight truck
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate handheld technology (smartphone, laptop, tablet)
- Ability to perform tasks in variable outdoor conditions
- Clean driving record (MVR)
