Job Summary
Rental Crane Truck Driver in Georgia responsible for delivery and pickup of rental equipment from the store to the customer’s site, conducting pre/post-delivery inspections, documenting drop-offs/pickups, and providing equipment familiarization to customers. Requires operating a CDL-class A vehicle with crane capabilities, maintaining 100% DOT log compliance, taking digital photos of equipment, obtaining customer signatures, and delivering strong customer service while adhering to safety protocols and PPE usage. Cranes certification and safety training are required, with emphasis on thorough equipment checks and accurate record-keeping.
Required Qualifications
- Valid, active CDL license. Class A preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a driver for heavy equipment transportation, general professional freight carrier, or heavy-duty trucking.
- Crane certification.
- Must be 23-years-old or older.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- DOT log book maintenance and compliance.
- Background check and MVR with less than 10 points.
- DOT Physical
- Drug Screen
- Must not be disqualified to drive a CMV under 49 CFR § 383.5 or 49 CFR § 383.51.
- Ability to manage electronic log books and delivery software via electronic tablets.
