Job Summary
Rental Crane Truck Driver responsible for delivery and pickup of rental equipment from the store to the customer’s drop site, with pre/post delivery inspections, documentation of drop-offs/pickups, and customer familiarization of equipment. Operates CDL Class A vehicle with crane certification, maintains DOT logs, takes digital photos before delivery, loads/unloads equipment, obtains customer signatures, and conducts equipment inspections for safety and cleanliness. Participates in safety programs; required to complete Crane Certification and Driver’s Safety Course. Requires 23+ years old, 3+ years of heavy equipment transport experience, ability to read/write/speak English, and successful driver screenings including MVR, background check, DOT Physical, and Drug Screen. Required Qualifications
- Must be 23-years-old or older.
- Valid, active CDL license. Class A preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a driver for heavy equipment transportation, general professional freight carrier, or heavy-duty trucking.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete DQ file, including Road Test administered by Yancey personnel, Background check and MVR with less than 10 points, DOT Physical, Drug Screen.
- Crane certification.
- Ability to manage electronic log books and delivery software via electronic tablets.
