Job Summary
Rental Coordinator at EquipmentShare in San Diego, CA. Manage the rental process for customers by responding to inbound leads, guiding stakeholders (contractors and construction principals) through equipment selection, and ensuring the right equipment is available when needed. Build and nurture relationships to expand the customer base, educate customers on cost-saving and efficiency benefits of EquipmentShare, promptly resolve inquiries, and develop strategies to grow market share. Leverage the company’s T3 technology to keep equipment information current and support a high level of service and satisfaction for customers, with a Monday–Friday schedule and overtime eligibility after 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer-service skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and contractors
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Experience using customer relationship and sales processes is a plus
- Familiarity with rental processes and equipment is a plus
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug testing
