Rental Associate

Job Summary
Identify customer needs to recommend the right tool or equipment, create and close rental contracts, and load/unload equipment around the yard. Communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person while instructing customers on safety and operation. Inspect tools and trailers for damage, record hours and fuel levels, and create service work orders. Troubleshoot equipment issues, clean and maintain tools, and conduct daily inventory reports. Schedule and perform maintenance including fluid changes, filter replacements, and ignition repairs. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and reporting suspicious activity. Full-time hours (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to work Saturdays
- Computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for the majority of your shift
- Ability to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout the shift
