Job Summary
Administer the Housing Choice Voucher program by complying with HUD regulations and agency policies. Schedule and conduct interviews with applicants, review annual and interim re-exam documents, and process changes or notices to move. Determine rent reasonableness, review lease contracts for accuracy, and monitor compliance with program rules. Ensure all records and verification documents are adequately documented while maintaining quality control. Represent the agency at public functions and seminars. Retrieve messages and return calls promptly. Work on-site at the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency. Requires a valid driver's license, bondability, and a Housing Choice Voucher Specialist certification.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must be bondable
- Certification in HCV (Housing Choice Voucher) Specialist
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- two to six years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
