Rental Applications Estimator

Job Summary
The Rental Applications Estimator develops accurate, timely estimates and proposals for temporary power, HVAC, compressed air, fluid handling, and specialty rental projects. RESPONSIBILITIES include reviewing RFQs, drawings, specifications, and site requirements; selecting and sizing equipment (generators, chillers, air conditioners, air handlers, transformers, pumps, distribution systems); estimating rental durations, freight, fuel, labor, commissioning, and demobilization; developing pricing for equipment, labor, transportation, subcontractors, and services; coordinating with operations, dispatch, logistics, and project management; preparing customer-facing proposals with scopes of work, pricing summaries, schedules, exclusions, clarifications, and terms; maintaining records and supporting sales presentations and technical discussions; and traveling locally as needed. The role requires strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, ability to read construction documents, and proficiency with Excel and related software.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered
- 3+ years of estimating, rental operations, project coordination, industrial services, HVAC, power generation, or related field preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experience reading blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CRM, ERP, dispatch, and estimating software preferred
Desired Qualifications
