Job Summary
Rental and Service Technician responsibilities include delivery, installation, and collection of rental equipment within SLA and 4-hour turnaround; troubleshooting and repairs on rental pumps and mattresses; inventory management and stock counts; installation training for end users; provide service for PAC and IPC systems, plan and execute service backorders, attend service callouts, complete job cards for repairs and warranty work, record assessments and data, plan country trips for assessments and service queries; maintain service tools and comply with ARJO SOP standards; ensure safety and maintain strong customer relationships in hospital/clinics/aged-care environments; standby after hours; possess a Grade 12 qualification, 1–2 years’ relevant technical service experience, valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience
- Previous technical service and repair experience
- Valid driver’s license with experience in driving and maintaining a company vehicle
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
- Availability for standby duty after hours during weekdays and weekends
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
