Job Summary
The Renovation Superintendent I is responsible for overseeing and executing property renovations, turnover projects, and resident maintenance service requests. This role requires performing detailed inspections, developing repair scopes and budgets, scheduling vendors, and ensuring quality control of renovation projects. Maintenance responsibilities include managing daily work orders, performing various repair tasks, tracking supplies, and providing exceptional customer service. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and at least two years' experience in residential renovation or maintenance, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of residential renovation and/or maintenance experience (single-family or multi-family preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of property management maintenance experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license (must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational/technical training or trade certification
- Knowledge of building and property management codes
- HVAC certification
- Plumbing or Electrical certification
