Job Summary
Reviewing due diligence materials, procuring subcontractors and vendors, managing RFPs, creating bid comparisons, hosting kickoff meetings, tracking live budgets, coordinating with property managers, and ensuring project execution meets contract specs and ADA requirements. Maintain schedules, monitor construction activities, manage payment coordination with vendors/subcontractors, liaise with architectural/engineering contacts and city officials, perform site visits two days a week, and facilitate successful hand-off to property management with thorough punch walks and final walkthroughs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or certificate program preferred
- Proven work experience as a Construction Project Manager or Maintenance Supervisor for large-scale multifamily
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the renovation of multifamily projects
- General knowledge of construction practices
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Travel may be required based on location
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and other physical demands as described
