Job Summary
Renewals Manager role within Redpanda's Customer Success organization, based in Austin with a minimum of 3 days on-site per week. Own a high-velocity renewal book across SMB and mid-market accounts, collaborating with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Finance to ensure timely renewals at the right value. Drive renewal forecasting accuracy, lead commercial conversations on contract terms and pricing, and identify upsell opportunities at renewal in partnership with sales. Cross-functional coordination with Finance, Legal, and Deal Desk to ensure accurate, on-time contracts; track metrics like net revenue retention and churn; continuously improve renewal playbooks and templates. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years in renewals/inside sales/account management/customer success in SaaS, a proven ability to manage pipelines and hit targets, strong communication, Salesforce/CRM experience, and a collaborative, fast-moving mindset. Nice-to-have: exposure to technical SaaS, data streaming, Kafka, AI/ML infrastructure, renewal tools like Gong/ChurnZero/Clari, startup or pre-IPO experience, and remote-friendly considerations. U.S. base salary around $105,000 plus bonus/commission; role is hybrid in Austin with remote flexibility per policy.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in renewals, inside sales, account management, or customer success in a SaaS company
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume pipeline and consistently hit quota or renewal targets
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and juggle multiple accounts and deadlines
- Clear, professional communication skills — written and verbal
- Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM to manage pipeline and forecast
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment
