Job Summary
Perform basic construction and maintenance on substations, transmission systems, and battery storage assets while troubleshooting protections, control equipment, and relay schemes. Coordinate emergency responses for high-voltage equipment and BESS systems, manage inventory and tooling, and execute BOP operations including LOTO training. Operate the facility safely, read electrical schematics, and interface with contractors, suppliers, and landowners to ensure compliance with all regulations. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and experience with diagnostic tools. Based in Fort Stockton, Texas, with on-site duties and after-hour call-out support.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience using and understanding diagnostic tools
- Computer operation skills, familiar with internet-based program navigation and have the ability to generate and interpret computer data
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and schematics with attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety protocols on site
- Effectively communicate with third parties, vendors, and co-workers
- Good written communication skills
- LOTO training and proficiency
- Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance
