Job Summary
Conduct construction and maintenance of substations, transmission, collection systems, and battery storage assets. Troubleshoot protections, control equipment, and relay schemes while reporting emergency responses for high-voltage equipment and BESS systems. Manage inventory, tooling, and vehicles; operate facilities safely with LOTO proficiency. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and landowners; interpret electrical schematics and drawings. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Support after-hour call-outs for emergency response. Requires valid driver's license, ability to read schematics, and physical capacity to lift 50 pounds. Based in Fort Stockton, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience using and understanding diagnostic tools
- Computer operation skills, familiar with internet-based program navigation and have the ability to generate and interpret computer data
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and schematics with attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety protocols on site
- Effectively communicate with third parties, vendors, and co-workers
- Good written communication skills
- LOTO training and proficiency
- Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Close vision
