Job Summary
Mid-level renewable energy project development attorney sought to draft and negotiate EPCs, O&Ms, PPAs and other renewable energy contracts for a fully remote distributed law firm. Requires 3-5 years of law-firm experience in renewable energy, strong drafting and negotiation abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment while mentoring junior attorneys. Bar admission in good standing in the applicant’s state is required; candidates should be able to collaborate with clients and colleagues, manage multiple complex matters under deadlines, and contribute to the firm’s mission focused on accelerating the transition away from fossil fuels.
Required Qualifications
- Admission to and in good standing with the Bar of the applicant’s state of residence
- Experience negotiating renewable energy contracts (EPCs, O&Ms, PPAs)
- 3-5 years’ experience at a law firm (renewable energy industry preferred)
- Strong drafting, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Team-focused with mentoring capabilities
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting
