Job Summary
Oversee asset management and O&M of solar (PV) power plants in Hungary, ensuring efficient, safe energy generation aligned with contractual obligations, KPIs, and safety standards. Prepare budget forecasts for operations, optimize power generation for reliability and cost efficiency, and monitor asset performance to reduce unplanned downtime through proactive measures. Carry out failure analysis, root cause analysis, and technical assistance, while providing weekly performance reports and driving continuous improvement initiatives to de-risk assets. Manage internal and external stakeholders, supervise direct reports, and lead special projects such as revamping and new asset integration. Ensure compliance with O&M contracts and warranty clauses for equipment suppliers and service providers.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, energy or renewable energy engineering, or a related field
- Proven and relevant experience (2+ years) in Asset Management and/or O&M of solar projects
- Strong understanding of solar technologies, operational management, contractual administration, vendor /sub-contractor management, budgeting and cost management as well as related standards
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of solar plant equipment
- Efficient in MS office (PowerPoint, MS Projects, Excel, Word etc.)
- Willing to travel to project sites
- Proactive attitude, excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English and Hungarian language knowledge
