Job Summary
Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components while interpreting drawings to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery. Identify parts requiring new or replacement, utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments, and respond to production area requests regarding identified mechanical issues. Communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose problems and determine potential mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance and completing assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Requires minimum 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience, knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment, and ability to read and interpret documents and drawings. Work assigned days/shifts including some weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
- General mathematics ability
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
- Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
- Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)
