Job Summary
Maintain and test mechanical equipment, interpret drawings to properly adjust/repair machinery, identify parts needing replacement, perform preventive maintenance, respond to production requests to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, communicate with management to determine potential problems, and complete tasks accurately and efficiently using shop mathematics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and documents
- Basic mathematics
- Ability to work with assigned shifts including some weekends
