Job Summary
Maintain the dish washing station by organizing items in trays, operating washing machines, and drying china, glassware, and silverware before returning them to stock. Wash items by hand that do not fit in machines, ensuring all equipment is sanitized, dried, and properly stored. Keep tables clean and presentable with fresh linens while performing side duties such as cleaning vents, scrubbing trash cans, and emptying dumpsters. Approach all guest and employee encounters with a friendly, service-oriented demeanor while complying with safety and sanitation regulations. Work flexible hours in a high-pressure environment, standing throughout the shift to support restaurant operations and meet guest volume needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Flexible and long hours
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to exert 20 pounds of force constantly
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
