Job Summary
Support full E‐IDS System Integration across data, layouts, network components, and facility workflows by gathering operational requirements from FAA facilities and building LDAs through mapping NDC fields to site-specific needs. Validate data accuracy, layout behavior, and system interfaces while deploying configurations across test and operational environments. Document field mappings, layout decisions, template structures, and configuration changes to ensure reliable, consistent, and accurate system performance. Troubleshoot connectivity issues using Cisco diagnostic commands and resolve common Linux operational problems. Verify implementation packages before deployment and communicate technical issues to engineering and management audiences. Work remotely within the contiguous United States with 50-90% travel to CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations.
Required Qualifications

- Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to start
- Bachelor's degree and 12 years' related experience or Masters degree and 10 years experience or Associate's degree and 14 years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years' experience
- 10+ years of systems integration experience supporting complex, multi-vendor network, communications, infrastructure, and software environments
- 2+ years of experience configuring and validating Cisco, Dell, and HPE/Aruba infrastructure using vendor management interfaces (Cisco Web GUI, Dell OpenManage, HPE/Aruba Web Interface)
- 3+ years of experience analyzing end-to-end system functionality, validating architecture, tracing data flows, and troubleshooting interface issues across integrated systems
- 2+ years of experience administering Linux systems using command-line utilities to perform system navigation, configuration verification, log analysis, file management, and basic troubleshooting
- Must be able to travel 50-90% of the time to support deployments at CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with FAA National Airspace System (NAS), E-IDS, or other mission-critical operational systems
- Understanding of Air Traffic Control (ATC) operational workflows and time-critical information requirements
- Knowledge of Local Data Administration (LDA), National Data Configuration (NDC), and operational display configuration
- Experience with interface configuration tools, layout editors, template management, and page builders
- Knowledge of relational databases, schemas, data normalization, and data relationships
- Experience troubleshooting operational data synchronization and interface inconsistencies
- Understanding of human factors engineering and usability principles for operational displays
- Experience supporting multi-site deployments, site readiness assessments, and commissioning activities
- Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes, configuration management, and change control
- Ability to quickly learn and apply FAA operational procedures and engineering standards
