Job Summary
Remote Support Professional at Hope Haven in Spirit Lake, IA. Responsibilities include providing support and training to individuals per the service plan, assisting with hygiene and daily activities, teaching self-management, completing documentation, coordinating appointments and transportation, promoting safety, collaborating with team and community, completing required trainings, supporting individuals with complex needs, and providing scheduled or urgent direct/virtual support as needed. Requires a High School Diploma, good communication, basic computer skills, sound judgment, ability to complete agency training, a valid Class C license, health assessments, and background checks. Hourly pay in the range of $17.25–$22.25 with benefits including health insurance, life insurance, 403B, PTO, and various other benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Good communication (verbal and written)
- organizational and leadership skills
- Computer literate or basic computer skills (willing to learn Excel)
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making decisions
- Ability to complete agency courses/orientation training and requirements
- Valid Class C driver’s license
- Ability to pass health assessment and maintain health assessment as required
- Background checks as required by service standards
- Provide proof of state minimum liability insurance
