Job Summary
Draft 2D/3D structural drawings using AutoCAD and translate director-provided sketches into complete structural documentation. Prepare detailed calculations with Structural Toolkit and/or CLEAR Calcs, ensuring all work adheres to Australian engineering practices and compliance standards. Set up jobs using pre-prepared templates, incorporate revisions, and maintain organized project files for client submission. Communicate with the Director for clarifications and approvals while prioritizing project deadlines. This remote role requires 30 hours per week with flexible hours aligned to Australian business operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a relevant experience as an AutoCAD Drafter
- Strong knowledge of drainage design including onsite detention
- understanding of Australian residential construction & engineering practices in AU
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to draft, setup sheets and complete structural calculations
- Ability to work independently, stay on task, and meet project deadlines
- The ability to multitask and prioritize your workload
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Previous remote work experience with Australian clients
- Reliable internet connection
- suitable home office setup
