Remote Services Supervisor

Job Summary
Conduct inspection, monitoring, and basic maintenance of water, wastewater, and power systems, including routine checks of bores, pumps, tanks, and distribution facilities. Identify faults, perform basic repairs, and monitor plant alarms while maintaining accurate service records. Provide leadership and coaching to a local workforce, coordinating daily activities for waste management, landfill operations, vegetation control, and community area upkeep. This permanent residential role is based in Kalumburu, Western Australia, with housing, utilities, phone, internet, and a company vehicle provided. The position requires a trade qualification, C Class driver's licence, and experience in remote Indigenous community environments.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and support team development through coaching and mentoring
- Ability to live and work in a remote community environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Experience in maintenance, utilities, municipal services, or similar field-based roles
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- National Police Clearance
- First Aid Certificate
- Full Australian working rights
Desired Qualifications
- Trade qualification (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or similar)
- Experience working with power, water, or wastewater systems
- Experience with maintenance of plant and equipment
- Previous experience in remote or regional locations
