Job Summary
Produce high-difficulty expert tasks and gold-standard solutions in accounting and audit, then review and calibrate team members' output to ensure alignment with professional standards. Escalate genuine edge cases and rubric ambiguities to the Functional SME Lead. Verify technical accuracy for financial reporting, controls, compliance, and assurance scenarios to help AI systems generate reliable, practical solutions. Commitments include at least 4 hours daily with up to 40 hours weekly and 4 hours of overlap with PST. This role supports Turing's mission to advance frontier AI models and build real-world systems for mission-critical priorities.
Required Qualifications
- 8–15 years of experience in accounting or audit, at Manager–Director level in public accounting or as an industry Controller
- Regionally relevant accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA
- Expert knowledge of US GAAP, complex accounting issues, financial statements, disclosures, and reporting requirements
- Strong experience designing, evaluating, and improving internal controls, including financial reporting and compliance controls
- Proven audit judgment in assessing risks, reviewing evidence, identifying material issues, and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field
- at least 4 hours per day
