Job Summary
Provide counseling services to students and their parents. Participate in multi-tiered systems of support for students with social/emotional and behavioral needs, including inter-disciplinary meetings to evaluate diagnoses and treatment plans. Develop and maintain initial and annual IEPs as appropriate. Collaborate with families and staff during weekly team meetings and follow-ups to support social and emotional development. Adhere to federal, state, and local procedures for record keeping, eligibility documentation, and procedural safeguards while maintaining a schedule to ensure compliance with all required meetings and services.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Psychology
- Has obtained or is eligible for an endorsement as a School Psychologist as prescribed in the bylaws of the State Department of Education
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or specialized training in the field of pediatric mental health is preferred
