Job Summary
Review architectural and structural plans for U.S.-based projects to develop roof and floor truss placement plans. Create individual truss profiles and production-ready design packages using TrueBuild by Eagle Metal, applying project-specific loads, spans, and bearing conditions. Coordinate layouts with walls, beams, and mechanical openings to identify conflicts and constructability concerns. Prepare designs for engineering review, sealing, and fabrication, then revise packages based on feedback from engineers, clients, or production teams. Maintain accuracy and compliance with applicable U.S. building codes while communicating clearly with project managers, estimators, and production teams.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience designing roof and floor truss systems
- Hands-on experience with TrueBuild by Eagle Metal (mandatory)
- Experience working on projects for the U.S. market
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural construction documents
- Experience preparing truss layouts, placement plans, and individual truss profiles
- Strong knowledge of wood-frame construction and truss component manufacturing
- Familiarity with U.S. building codes and truss design standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify design conflicts
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple active projects
- Professional English communication skills
- Availability to collaborate during U.S. business hours
- TrueBuild by Eagle Metal – Required
Desired Qualifications
- AutoCAD – Preferred
- MiTek, Alpine IntelliVIEW, or similar truss-design software – Preferred
- Experience with residential, multifamily, or light commercial projects
- Familiarity with MiTek, Alpine IntelliVIEW, or other truss-design platforms
- Knowledge of ANSI/TPI 1, IRC, and IBC requirements
- Experience coordinating directly with U.S. engineers, builders, architects, or component manufacturers
- Previous remote experience with a U.S.-based company
