Job Summary
Remote clinical/telehealth psychologist role focusing on diagnostic evaluations for young children (18 months–6 years) with suspected ASD or neurodevelopmental concerns. Responsibilities include conducting caregiver interviews, administering standardized telehealth assessments (e.g., ADOS-2-Toddler Module, CARS-2, Vineland-3), interpreting results, writing integrated evaluation reports, providing diagnostic feedback to families, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Requires a Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD), GA licensure or eligibility, experience with ASD/neurodevelopmental evaluations in early childhood, familiarity with telehealth tools, and ability to obtain Medicaid credentialing; a GA license is required, with potential consideration for licenses in MD, NC, OK, or AZ. Minimum 20 hours per month of evaluation services; relocation support offered. Pay rate: $75-$120 per hour; contract length 16 weeks (approx. 14 hours/week). Includes full benefits for full-time employees where applicable and licensure reimbursement options.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
- Licensed or license-eligible psychologist in Georgia (GA) or willing to obtain GA licensure
- Experience with ASD and neurodevelopmental evaluations in early childhood
- Familiarity with telehealth assessment tools/protocols
- Ability to conduct telehealth diagnostic evaluations and write integrated reports
- Strong clinical judgment and differential diagnosis skills
- Ability to communicate diagnostic impressions to families
- Physician/psychologist license must reside in GA or within 50 miles of GA border for Medicaid credentialing
- Telehealth evaluation tools (e.g., ADOS-2-Toddler Module/Telehealth adaptations, CARS-2, Vineland-3)
- Ability to work independently with some administrative support
- Minimum 20 hours per month of evaluation services
- GA license required; other listed state licenses (MD, NC, OK, AZ) considered for credentialing
