Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive initial psychiatric evaluations via video and provide ongoing medication management and titration for adult outpatient populations across mood, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use presentations. Prescribe controlled substances in accordance with federal and state law and current telehealth prescribing rules while coordinating with therapists, care navigators, and primary care where indicated. Document within our behavioral health EMR to the standard required for payer review and escalate acute safety concerns per protocol with 24/7 crisis-team backup. Full admissions and assessment support are provided on every case, with an average of [XX] encounters per shift and protected documentation time. No inpatient responsibility or call is required.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency
- Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry by the ABPN
- Active, unrestricted medical license and DEA registration authorizing all applicable schedules
- 2+ years of outpatient psychiatric practice post-residency
- Comfort with telepsychiatry workflows and remote medication management
- Active, unrestricted medical licensure in a minimum of three U.S. states
- Professional working proficiency in Spanish, sufficient to conduct a complete clinical encounter without an interpreter
Desired Qualifications
- Subspecialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry or addiction medicine
