Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients via telemedicine, prescribing medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed. Create and collaborate with clients on care plans while completing appropriate paperwork and assessment tools. Adhere to Clinical Practice Guidelines and consult with Regional Clinic Directors on clients, programs, and services. Treat clients aged 14 and up with conditions including depression, anxiety, and ADHD, utilizing AdvancedMD EMR for documentation. Complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards and certification exams prior to practice.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Board Certification
- Master's in Nursing
- Active prescriptive authority in the state
- Licensed and live in the state in which they will be practicing
- Three years of experience
- One year of psychiatry practice
- Willingness to treat 14 years old and up
- Make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
- Create and collaborate with clients on care plans
- Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire
