Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and medication management for clients with conditions like depression, anxiety, and ADHD via telemedicine. Create and collaborate on care plans while adhering to clinical practice guidelines, specifically avoiding stimulant medication incentives and focusing on non-substance use disorders. Complete required paperwork and assessment tools, consulting with Regional Clinic Directors on programs and services. Treat clients aged 14 and up within a diverse population, with a focus on adults and adolescents. This role offers 25-35 clinical hours per week with no on-call rotation, providing bi-weekly pay and comprehensive benefits including 401k matching and CEU reimbursement. New hires must complete in-house ADHD treatment training and certification.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Board Certification
- Master's in Nursing
- Active prescriptive authority in the state
- Licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing
- Three years of experience
- One year of psychiatry practice
- Willingness to treat 14 years old and up
- Ability to prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms
- Ability to make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity
- Ability to create and collaborate with clients on care plans
- Ability to complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
- Ability to adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Ability to consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
- Ability to complete an in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach
- Ability to pass a certification exam following the in-house training
- Ability to treat ADHD clients
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire

- Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR
- 30+ hours of availability per week
- Three years of experience (general)
