Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and medication prescriptions for clients aged 14 and up via telemedicine. Create collaborative care plans for diverse populations managing conditions like depression, anxiety, and ADHD while adhering to clinical practice guidelines. Complete necessary paperwork and administer assessment tools, consulting with regional directors on client programs and services. All clinicians must complete in-house ADHD treatment training and certification exams. This role offers 25-35 clinical hours per week with a competitive ramp stipend for those offering 30+ hours. No on-call rotation is required, and the position includes no quotas for client volume or prescriptions.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Board Certification
- Master's in Nursing
- Active prescriptive authority in the state
- Licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing
- Three years of experience
- One year of psychiatry practice
- Willingness to treat 14 years old and up
- Ability to prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
- Ability to make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity
- Ability to create and collaborate with clients on care plans
- Ability to complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
- Ability to adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Ability to consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
- Ability to complete an in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach
- Ability to pass a certification exam following the in-house training
- Ability to enroll in and treat ADHD clients
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire
- No employment visa sponsorship eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR
- 30+ hours of availability per week
