Job Summary

Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity for adults and adolescents with conditions like depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed, adhering to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines while offering stimulant medications only as an option based on client symptoms. Create and collaborate with clients on care plans, complete appropriate paperwork and assessment tools, and consult with Regional Clinic Directors on clients and programs. This role requires a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification and one year of psychiatry practice. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $187,000 annually based on 25-35 clinical hours per week, with a competitive ramp stipend for those offering 30+ hours. The position is fully remote with no required on-call, bi-weekly pay, and includes 401k matching, health insurance, and CEU reimbursement.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Board Certification
  • Master's in Nursing
  • Active prescriptive authority in the state
  • Licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing
  • Three years of experience
  • One year of psychiatry practice
  • Willingness to treat 14 years old and up
  • Ability to prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
  • Ability to make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity
  • Ability to create and collaborate with clients on care plans
  • Ability to complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
  • Ability to adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
  • Ability to consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
  • Ability to complete an in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach
  • Ability to pass a certification exam following the in-house training
  • Ability to treat ADHD clients
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire
  • No employment visa sponsorship eligibility

  • Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR
