Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and medication prescriptions for clients aged 14 and up via telemedicine. Create and collaborate on care plans while adhering to clinical practice guidelines. Complete assessment tools and paperwork for clients with conditions such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Consult with Regional Clinic Directors on clients, programs, and services across various sites. All clinicians must complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards and pass a certification exam. This role offers 25-35 clinical hours per week with a guaranteed bi-weekly pay schedule and no required on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Board Certification
- Master's in Nursing
- Active prescriptive authority in the state
- Licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing
- Three years of experience
- One year of psychiatry practice
- Willingness to treat 14 years old and up
- Ability to prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms
- Ability to make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity
- Ability to create and collaborate with clients on care plans
- Ability to complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
- Ability to adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Ability to consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR
- Three years of experience (listed as a plus)
