Remote Project Manager – Restaurant Construction

Job Summary
Coordinate restaurant construction projects from a remote environment by managing schedules, deadlines, and deliverables using Microsoft Project. Review blueprints and drawings to interpret project plans, then communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, and vendors via phone, email, and video meetings. Track progress, identify risks, and maintain organized documentation while representing the company in all external interactions. Learn U.S. local construction codes and restaurant-specific requirements to operate independently as an extension of the on-site operations team. Work 40 hours weekly during U.S. Pacific Time business hours with a California-based construction firm.
Required Qualifications
- 4–5+ years of construction project management experience
- Restaurant, hospitality, commercial, or similar construction experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Fluent English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of construction project coordination and scheduling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and construction management software
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and project plans
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and multiple project stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Willingness and ability to learn U.S. local construction codes and restaurant-specific requirements
- Professional demeanor and confidence representing the company with clients and subcontractors
- Full-time availability of 40 hours per week
- Ability to work U.S. Pacific Time business hours
- Ability to manage construction projects and coordinate subcontractors/vendors
