Job Summary
Privacy Officer responsibilities include leading Trinity Health's enterprise-level privacy/compliance initiatives, providing guidance to System Services Area, Regions and Health Ministries, and ensuring alignment with strategy, performance, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities emphasize standardization and optimization of policy, process, and governance, vendor/contract labor management, cross-functional collaboration to drive KPIs and value delivery, and leadership in risk, legal, and regulatory compliance programs. Skills/experience highlighted include project management, process redesign, analytical support, deep knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, and certification in compliance, audit, or privacy. The role requires a Master’s degree (or equivalent experience), at least seven years in healthcare/compliance, and certification in privacy, compliance, or audit (or commitment to obtain within 12 months). Required Qualifications
- Master’s level degree in Business or Health Administration, Law, or a related field, or comparable work experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years of increasing responsibility in health care and/or compliance management and/or consulting
- Possess Compliance, Audit and/or Privacy certification - or obtain certification in the first 12 months in role
