Job Summary
Process assigned Care Coordination tasks including e-filing, order and referral management, insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and completing patient medical forms. Evaluate medical documents for electronic filing into patient charts and navigate client electronic health records with ease. Track completed work to log time and transaction counts while adhering to client protocols and Service Level Agreements. Maintain strict confidentiality by following HIPAA guidelines and reporting any violations. Report variances to standard or issues preventing job completion to management. Provide clear, professional communication to external customers, vendors, and internal teams. Work in an Alaska time zone schedule, onsite, hybrid, or remote capacity with access to a secure workspace and reliable internet.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work an Alaska time zone schedule
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, reaching, standing, walking, driving, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with health information management concepts, EHRs and/or medical terminology
