Job Summary
The Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) operates systems to simulate pilot and air traffic control actions during training exercises. Responsibilities include receiving voice commands, simulating pilot actions through automated systems, and responding to students using proper phraseology via voice communication. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience. Key skills required are a minimum keyboard speed of 40 wpm with 90% accuracy, effective communication skills, and the ability to interpret technical materials.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one (1) year of experience in a comparable position
- Demonstrated minimum keyboard speed of forty (40) wpm with ninety (90) percent accuracy rate
- Ability to read and interpret materials such as diagrams and manuals
- Ability to speak clearly and be understood
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Basic familiarization with current technological tools (tablets, notebooks, applications, etc.)
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
