Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and maintain comprehensive medical documentation. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating with nurse practitioners and support staff. Stay current on medical advancements and telehealth best practices. Maintain an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and complete required DEA and buprenorphine training. Commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) with four-day scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Ability to use telemedicine platforms
- Ability to use EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
